Well….it looks as though our little groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil emerging on Gobbler’s Knob has made his cheerless prediction….six more weeks of winter!
Yesterday, the blue skies were exposing, the sun was favoring us and temperatures were climbing as well as my outlook for spring! It got me in the mood for blue…the casting blue skies had me calling on spring, the bird’s chirping and more days with sun!
Here are some “blue-tiful” interiors and lovelies that will encourage and liven your steps as we buckle down for, as Phil has predicted…more gloomy days!
This settee is so sweet. It speaks vintage but is paired so beautifully with the casual floors.
The transition from winter to spring is quite lovely here. By adding colorful lamps in a rather warm neutral space, it can translate fresh.
Dreaming of opening my windows allowing the crisp air and breeze to captivate my home!
This welcoming entryway by Mona Hajj Interiors is a balance of eclectic and warmth. Leaving color off of the walls and onto doors and trim is simple brilliance.
Quiet tranquil space…creative way to enjoy an unused attic. Make it a great weekend project by removing a little clutter, boxing it away and a little fresh paint.
The blues are subtle with a nice hint of gray. These marble countertops are a lovely choice next to this color!
Spa-taculor…..adding ceramic tile as a border to this bath is genius. Allows the walls to be crisp and white for themselves without color confusion.
These glass knobs are a simple way to add color for less. By exchanging knobs on closets, doors or even used for displaying art, infusing blue into your room just got that much easier!
To end our “blue-tiful” distractions, we all need our sweet escape!
